‘P A R A : Unbounded Stillness in Motion’ is a photographic exploration of the transcendence of time and space based on my internal research in consciousness.
Para, a Sanskrit word with many subtle meanings, essentially means ‘transcendence’, or the suspension of the experience of time and space, often experienced while in meditation, yet also experienced in waking, sleeping and dream states.
This video shows photographic imagery first presented at the Henderson Gallery in Fairfield, Iowa in September 2016.
‘P A R A : Unbounded Stillness in Motion’ won the Best Experimental Film award at the First Annual Rishikesh Art & Film Festival held in Rishikesh, India in March 2017.
